Cuyahoga County Issues Mask Policy for All County Buildings

(Cuyahoga County News for You: Week of 9)

Cuyahoga County has been identified as an area of “substantial spread” of COVID-19 by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Based on recommendations and guidance from the CDC, Ohio Department of Health, and the Cuyahoga County Board of Health, we are adjusting our building safety requirements. Effective Thursday, August 5: all County employees are required to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status, when in a common area within any County building; all County employees are required to be screened for temperature and mask-wearing; and visitors to County buildings must continue to wear masks and screen for temperature and mask-wearing.
